We at the Together Trust, along with over 40 children's charities and professionals in child development, are deeply concerned about the unacceptable delays in taking evidence from children regarding the effects of lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last week, we responded to the consultation on the new Ofsted inspection framework for semi-independent accommodation.

Together Trust staff got an overwhelmingly big reaction from the crowds while rocking colourful disability, autism and queer youth awareness banners at Manchester Pride Parade 2023!  

Before the end of the academic year, children and young people at Inscape House School enjoyed their annual fun-filled sports day. Nursery pupils and senior students aged five to 17 were all welcome to turn up at the school’s sports field and participate in the competitions, regardless of their sporting abilities.

The government launched a consultation on 5 July with plans to close ticket offices in England. We believe that these proposals are harmful to disabled people and contradict government and rail industry commitments to improve rail access.  

It is the end of another academic year. Bridge College students have made amazing progress, and we’re all incredibly proud of their achievements.

For the past few months, a group of students from Inscape House School have been busy undertaking work experience with the team of professionals behind Gusto Italian. They have been learning all about setting tables, making drinks, kneading pizza dough and pasta making – and they are now ready to graduate to the next level: serving customers.  

After being among the eight finalists across the country for the Pupil Library Assistant of the Year Award 2023, Talia, Year 12, was represented by poet Laura Mucha and awarded a glass trophy due to her dedication and active involvement in the school library.

This month, Inscape House and Bridge College students took part in our third annual STEAM fair.
