The ever-popular Intercollege Sports Day, hosted by Seashell Trust, took place this year on 20 June at Sportcity, Manchester, as part of the Natspec Games programme

The general election is only three days away. By the end of this week, we will know who will be running the country for the next five years.  

In this blog, our Campaigns and Advocacy Officer Styliana shares what you need to do to prepare to vote.

Since the next General Election date has been set for 4 July 2024, our campaigning team have been busy spreading the word about the importance of voting.  

Styliana, our amazing Campaigns and Advocacy Officer, has been visiting our adult services to talk to the young people about elections.  

With around 700,000 people in the UK with autism, 1.5 million people with a learning disability, and one in four experiencing mental health problems each year, many potential festival-goers could be missing out because their physical and/or mental needs are not being met.

Volunteers at Together Trust have made an incredible contribution this year, completing 1531 hours of volunteering and 750 individual activities.

This week, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak declared 4th July as the date for the next general election.  

Parliament is set to be dissolved on the 30th of May, and the vote will occur 25 working days later.  

In light of this announcement, we want to highlight the key commitments we expect to see from the next government, whichever political party is voted in. 

This May, Bridge College opened its doors to parents and carers, inviting them to witness the impressive work of its students. As parents arrived, they were warmly greeted by learners who escorted them outside to witness a group of students demonstrating their remarkable rugby skills.
