Last month, the Deputy Ceremonial Mayor of Salford, Councillor Gina Reynolds, received a warm welcome from one of the Together Trust's residential services - Haines House, to meet the home’s team and learn more about our work.

Earlier this year, we were delighted to have Councillor Gina Reynolds at our annual Achievement Awards event at the Etihad Stadium, which sparked her interest in our charity.

Haines House, one of the Together Trust’s residential services, has recently refurbished its sensory room thanks to climbing up the highest point in the Peak District last year.

What do you think you know about becoming a foster carer?  

Our experience is that people don’t always have accurate, up-to-date facts about taking on this rewarding role. In this myth buster, we provide the right information, so you can frame your thinking with confidence and, maybe, take a step towards becoming a Together Trust foster carer.

A passionate team of Together Trust staff members were among the thousands of festival goers at the largest celebration of South Asian Culture in the North of England - Manchester Mega Mela 2022.

Since the SEND Green Paper was launched in late March, we have been busy consulting with parents and carers of children with SEND, through our ‘Your Say on SEND’ survey. We’ve engaged with our workforce, parent and carer groups and organisations such as the Disabled Children Partnership.

One of our charity’s specialist schools, Ashcroft School, held its annual and long-awaited sports day last week, as pupils and teachers enjoyed participating in an Olympic-themed day of activities.

The Together Trust is looking forward to contributing to a new anthology, Free Loaves on Fridays. It will include poems, letters, and reflections from care experienced people, providing a safe and inclusive space for known and unknown writers to choose how their stories are told.
