After years of tireless campaigning, Nathaniel’s local train station, Reddish North, was awarded funding to make it fully accessible in 2021. Despite his campaign's success, public transport within other parts of Greater Manchester continues to be inaccessible. This has a major impact on disabled people’s lives.

The Together Trust held its first two-day charity pop-up shop experience in Manchester with hundreds of bargains.

This year is the European Year of Youth. In the spirit of this, the event aimed to build bridges between grassroots work and policymaking. It brought together professionals from the youth and social care field, members of the European Commission and young people.

We’re proud to be members of the Disabled Children’s Partnership, a coalition of more than 100 organisations that campaigns for better support for disabled children and their families.

Last month, the Deputy Ceremonial Mayor of Salford, Councillor Gina Reynolds, received a warm welcome from one of the Together Trust's residential services - Haines House, to meet the home’s team and learn more about our work.

Earlier this year, we were delighted to have Councillor Gina Reynolds at our annual Achievement Awards event at the Etihad Stadium, which sparked her interest in our charity.

Haines House, one of the Together Trust’s residential services, has recently refurbished its sensory room thanks to climbing up the highest point in the Peak District last year.
