Chris' fundraising hair shave
We couldn't provide the services we do without the support of our dedicated fundraisers and supporters. The money raised through fundraising and donations helps us to provide the best support possible for people with disabilities across Greater Manchester.
Fundraisers can come in all shapes and sizes with no limit to what you can do to raise money for the Together Trust. Whether you want to take on a cycling challenge, run a marathon or bake a cake, we are hugely thankful for everyone who chooses to fundraise for us. One such supporter we are hugely thankful to is Chris, who thought up a hair raises way to raise money for the Together Trust
In April, Chris decided he would brave the shave to raise money for charity and completely shave his head! We spoke to Chris who told us why he chose to support the Together Trust:
"I was growing my hair for 9 years because I was bored of having the same hair style, so I grew it out. I have always considered cutting my hair for multiple charities but I was unsure which charities to choose.
My partners Dad works for the together trust, Raymond Walton, and he is always telling me about the brilliant work that he and others have done. I spoke with him and he suggested that the Together Trust would be a great charity to choose, along with my other chosen charities- Prostate Cancer and Dementia (as these are conditions that have affected members of my family). All together I raised £600 from cutting my hair, splitting the donations 3 ways. I am happy that my donations will be helping such a brilliant cause!"
