A big thank you to Bridge College and the Together Trust
As we celebrate our 20th year as Investors in people, Darren wanted to share his story and say, "thank you" to Bridge College and Together Trust for supporting him in recently qualifying as a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA).
Having worked in the field of Psychology and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) for many years Darren had come to realise that being a BCBA would be the best way he could support our young people to develop the skills required to lead the most fulfilling lives possible. As such, he applied for funding to do an MSc in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), which was kindly provided with a day release to Bangor University each week. Darren completed this after 2 years, the next stage was to accrue 1500 hrs supervised practice, which was also facilitated by the Trust and took a further 2 yrs. This entitled him to sit the final (4hr) exam, which he passed this month.
In the 6 yrs Darren has been employed by the Together Trust he has also been sponsored to do accredited qualifications in management, teaching, autism and to become a Proact Scip uk Principal Instructor. Again, Darren would like to state his gratitude and say a big "THANK YOU for all the support and Investment!"
