An event for families of year 5 children with an EHCP or currently undergoing an EHCP needs assessment.
Are you a parent of a child currently in year 5 who will be moving on to secondary school? Do they have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or are they undergoing an EHCP needs assessment?
If so, we are hosting an information event with the EHCP/SEND Team about moving on to secondary schools. There will be an opportunity to hear from the Local Authority and well as the SENDIAS Service so you will know what to expect during the coming school year and when certain things should happen i.e., consultation with secondary schools and when your child’s EHCP will be amended.
