Adult day services

Our community centres are inclusive and creative spaces in Stockport and Salford.

We support people to have a happy social life, enjoy safe, comfortable spaces with their friends, and join in community activities.

Our community hubs

Specialist support

At our specialist day centres – Salford Hub and Beswick Day service – we work closely with other professionals and stakeholders including where necessary, speech and language therapists, social workers, clinical psychologists and other professionals.

This collaborative process keeps everyone involved in the individual’s support and allows for new behaviours and skills to be supported in all settings.

Fun, enriching activities

Our community centres provide disabled adults an opportunity to grow in confidence, skills and self-esteem as part of a nurturing community, with support from caring, trained staff.

Our centres are person-centred, providing adults to choose activities that they love. These can include:

  • Day trips
  • Singing and music
  • Swimming
  • Arts and crafts
  • Sensory sessions
  • Baking and cooking, including learning new skills at our café at Newbridge Centre

“Most of the young people who attend have done so for several years and see Newbridge as a big part of their lives.

We provide activities that are centre based, and community based from our singing and signing group to our cycling group, there are many groups to access all aimed at improving the quality of life of all our young people.”
