Our Chief Executive, Mel, has more than 37 years of experience working in the health, care, charity and housing sectors, with 19 years at a managerial or executive level.

An ex-Nurse and Social Worker, Mel is a passionate advocate for social justice with experience in delivering and commissioning services, and in championing the rights and needs of children, young people and adults who we support.

Mel is also an experienced Charity Trustee.

Mel works closely with the Board of Trustees to shape and deliver the organisation’s strategic direction. She leads the Trust’s focus on sustainable growth, innovation, financial resilience and high-quality services, while fostering an inclusive culture that enables colleagues, children, young people, adults and families to thrive
