What is the Join Together Festival?
Our festival is one of the charity’s key events and has been for over 100 years! It is a firm fixture in the local community’s calendar as Stockport’s only accessible, family friendly festival, with the aim that anyone, regardless of disability, could enjoy the event and be a part of their local community.
With over 2,500 people in attendance and over £7,000 raised, last year’s event was a roaring success; with this year’s festival on Saturday 4th July looking to be even bigger. Throughout the day there will be a fairground, local stall holders, refreshments, sensory areas, activities and performances on the main stage from our students and local groups, therapy animals, axe throwing, a climbing wall, and much more.

As a community focused building society there was no better event for us to sponsor. The Together Trust works with all young people in the community whether that is through individual care, support or education, no matter what their needs. We had a great day supporting the event and got to meet lots of young people who you support so we could see how much they value your help.

Your support will help break down barriers for care-experienced children and people with disabilities, autism and mental health differences in the North West.
