SENDIASS

We offer our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS) in Stockport and Tameside.

We provide free, confidential and impartial support to parents and carers of children and young people aged between 0 and 25 who have or may have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. We also provide independent advice and support directly to young people aged between 16 and 25 who have or may have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

Support for families

We will listen to your concerns, gather information about your situation and determine what level of support we can provide.

Our primary aim is to empower you with the information, advice and support you need to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Support for young people

Are you under 25 years old living in the Stockport area? Do you need extra help with learning or do you have a disability? SENDIASS may be able to help you.

Our service can help you understand what support you should be getting and tell you how you can ask for more support with learning in school or college. Get in touch:
