Transforming Crosskeys’ summerhouse into a youthful haven

We recently had a wonderful team from Manchester Airport come over and generously offer their time and talent to help transform some of our care homes.

Crosskeys, one of our residential services in Stockport, was among the lucky ones chosen. Crosskeys is a small therapeutic home offering intensive support to three children with recognised attachment issues and complex needs. The staff there had a dream to transform their summerhouse into a cozy hangout spot for the young people.

“Mark and his crew worked wonders, and we owe a big shout-out to Julie Walker for coordinating this fantastic project. Their dedication to community involvement is invaluable, especially for charities like ours,” shares Debbie Hinett, Registered Manager at Crosskeys.

Earlier this month, the team came to Crosskeys and put their heart and soul into making the summerhouse a warm, inviting space tailored to the young residents’ desires and needs. Their commitment didn’t stop there; they’re even planning to do more to enhance the outdoor facilities. We’re brimming with gratitude for Manchester Airport’s team. Their work is making our homes places our young people can truly be proud of.
