A group of students and staff from Inscape House School spent a wonderful 3 days in Keswick for their annual Residential Trip!
The trip was based at Calvert Lakes Activity Centre in the beautiful Lake District, encouraging students to explore the local area on day trips. They were joined by their teachers as well as Richard, Head of Post 16 and Hannah, Head Teacher.
Students engaged in a variety of high-energy adventures (zipwire, high ropes, ghyll scrambling, and hiking, some water-based fun (canoeing, lake swimming, and splash sessions, outdoorsy skills & challenges (archery, bushcraft, and night walks), and enjoyed some celebrations (evening discos, shared meals, and time to bond).
Finley, one of our Post-16 Students, says: “My favourite memory was chilling in the pool. It was a great trip.”

For some of our school leavers this trip marked a special milestone, a positive memory to take into the future.
“It was my first time away from home. I was nervous, but my friends and staff helped me. We had the best time ever.”
