Students from Inscape House school spent a wheely awesome day at Mercedes-Benz in Stockport with the team at LSH Auto!
As part of Careers Education, they got to hear from the various departments at Mercedes and got a tour through the bodyshop, the parts department, marketing, sales, as well as the shop floor.
This experience day was a good opportunity to introduce more students to working at Mercedes. For the last two years, our some of our students have completed work experience programmes guided by the expert team at LSH Auto.
With activities like taking photos of cars using professional cameras, testing how comfortable the seats are in the shop’s most expensive car and printing their own customised license plates, it was tough competition for everyone’s favourite task of the day.

“The students had the opportunity to get hands-on, meet our amazing team, and explore the many career paths our industry has to offer. They absolutely loved it and so did we. Seeing their excitement, confidence and curiosity grow throughout the day was truly inspiring.”
Preparing students for adulthood and the workplace is a big part of our curriculum. Some of our students have already gone through a work experience programme with the team at Mercedes.
