Congratulations to Our Supported Internship Graduates!

We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievements of McKenzie, Jamal, and Bayley, who have successfully graduated from Bridge College’s Supported Internship Program.
Last September, these three remarkable students embarked on a transformative journey with Sodexo, a global leader in sustainable food services, through Bridge College’s Supported Internship initiative. Over the past year, they have embraced diverse roles, developed invaluable skills, and worked towards the ultimate goal: securing paid employment.
This life-changing experience was made possible through a powerful collaboration between Bridge College, Sodexo, and DFN Project SEARCH. Together, they provided a seamless transition from college to the workplace, offering a one-year, transition-to-work program tailored for young adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.
Each intern has truly excelled
McKenzie has grown tremendously in confidence and hands-on expertise, earning the admiration of his entire team. His dedication and hard work have paid off—he will be joining the facilities team at Bridge College in a paid role.
“I’m proud and excited for the next steps!”

Bayley has experienced a remarkable transformation, with his confidence soaring and his skills flourishing. The internship has enriched his social life, travel independence, financial acumen, and work ethic. Even before graduating, Bayley secured a position with Sodexo’s catering team.
