Celebrating Success: Bayleigh secures employment through Bridge College's Supported Internship

We are thrilled to announce fantastic news from Bridge College—Bayleigh, one of our outstanding interns from the Supported Internship program, has just landed an incredible job offer at Sodexo!
About the Supported Internship Programme
Our Supported Internship programme is dedicated to bridging the gap between education and paid employment for young people. Specially designed for individuals aged 16–24 with additional needs who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), this initiative empowers aspiring professionals who want to gain meaningful employment but require tailored support to do so. The primary mission: to help talented young people with learning difficulties develop the essential skills and confidence needed to step into the workforce.
Currently, Bridge College offers two dynamic Supported Internship opportunities in collaboration with Sodexo and Gulliver’s World—opening doors for young people to launch their careers in supportive, inclusive environments.
A Triumph Worth Celebrating
We are absolutely bursting with pride—Bayleigh has not only completed the Supported Internship but has now been offered and accepted a permanent role with Sodexo. Throughout his time in the programme, Bayleigh distinguished himself with his unwavering work ethic, infectious enthusiasm, and fresh, innovative thinking. He has inspired everyone around him and set a shining example for his peers.
This achievement is a testament to Bayleigh’s dedication and growth, as well as the transformative power of Supported Internships. We could not be more thrilled to celebrate this milestone and to watch Bayleigh embark on this exciting new chapter in his career.
Please join us in offering a huge round of applause and heartfelt congratulations to Bayleigh! We are confident that he will continue to achieve remarkable things, and we look forward to cheering him on every step of the way.
