The Disabled Children’s Partnership needs your help!

We’re proud to be members of the Disabled Children’s Partnership, a coalition of more than 100 organisations that campaigns for better support for disabled children and their families.

Can you help us, with the DCP, paint an accurate and up-to-date picture of the life of disabled children and their families by completing their new survey?

This is an important time for families with disabled children with the government reforming services that are supposed to support them through both its special educational needs and disability reforms and the review of children’s social care.

These reforms are taking place as we recover from the pandemic, with the NHS and social care facing huge backlogs; and the country facing up to a cost of living crisis.

By sharing your experiences with the DCP, you can help ensure we can give an accurate picture of the impact of these on disabled children and their families.  You can share your experiences with the DCP by taking part in their latest parent carer survey.

It gives you the chance to tell them what the support is like and what impact it has on your disabled child or young person – across health, social care, education and other aspects of your life important to you and your family.

The survey takes around 10 – 15 minutes to complete, you can access it below:

The Disabled Children’s Partnership has been doing everything it can to understand what matters to children and their families, and elevate their concerns, hopes and ambitions to government to influence future SEND reform. Make sure that you have your say.
