A group of young footballers from Inscape House School have brought home the trophy after winning the Greater Manchester Inclusion Football Tournament at Eccles College.
Our young people have been working hard on bringing the trophy home. The Post-16 students have had a busy year taking part in the Greater Manchester Inclusion Football Tournament at Eccles College each month.
The six students have played over 35 games against a variety of colleges from Manchester in the lead-up to the final, the SEND Shield, on 18 May. The students played and won all five matches in the SEND Shield, giving them the title of Champions and returning to Inscape House School with the trophy.
“The tournament was a great success for the students. They grew in confidence during every game and had the belief that they could win throughout. Everyone at Inscape House School is so proud of their achievements, and can’t wait to see them go and defend their title next year.”
– Emily, Manchester United Football Club SEND Officer
Well done, Inscape House Football Team!
