Pupils from 11 specialist educational settings across Greater Manchester and Cheshire joined forces at the Lowry Theatre to stage the annual Together Trust's Music and Performing Arts Festival last month.

This month, Inscape House and Bridge College students took part in our third annual STEAM fair.

This week, we attended SEND Summit 2023, hosted by Children and Young People Now.​ The day was action packed with engaging workshops and lively discussion from across the sector, including teachers, SENDCos, social workers and public health professionals. 

June is a busy month for our schools. As the weather gets nicer there are more and more opportunities to have fun and mark events in style. The arrival of Pride Month sparked organisation wide celebrations in our educational settings. Take a look at some of the ways we celebrated Pride Month: 

Last month, five students from Ashcroft School embarked on a two-day qualifying expedition to achieve their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

After the success of last year’s event, Join Together Festival in Cheadle is back this year to delight local families with animal roadshows, live performances, fantastic food and drink and much more.

Holly McInerney has been a volunteer for Together Trust since September 2022, when she started studying full-time. Holly explains why her role is so rewarding: "I would definitely recommend it. It makes you feel fulfilled and gives you a purpose." 

A group of young footballers from Inscape House School have brought home the trophy after winning the Greater Manchester Inclusion Football Tournament at Eccles College.  

Three talented students from one of our specialist schools, Inscape House School, have been celebrating after scooping top literary awards in this year’s Portico Art of the Book Award competition.
