Our approach

At Bridge College, our students are at the centre of everything we do. And every student is unique – from their interests, to their aspirations, to their individual needs.

That’s why we create tailor-made learning and support plans shaped around the individual. Together we help every young person grow into the adult they want to be.

The Bridge way:

  • Our students come first and are at the centre of everything we do
  • We constantly strive to improve and innovate
  • We are all responsible for ensuring the success of Bridge College and its students

Our approach

Inclusive learning

We’re a specialist college with a very broad reach. In fact, we pride ourselves on inclusivity. If we can meet a student’s needs, we’re here to do everything we can to help that individual succeed in life. Whatever success means for them.

Student shaped support

From day one, every student has a multiskilled team around them, from tutors and therapists to nurses, support staff and assistive tech. We can even provide specialist staff training to tailor our expertise right down to the individual.

Celebrating success

Success comes in lots of different shapes, so let’s celebrate it. Every day we shine a light on our students’ achievements, helping them grow their skills and self confidence however they learn or communicate. We want to make sure every student leaves feeling happy and ready for adulthood.

Read some of our student's stories below.

A flexible, innovative approach

We welcome almost 100 students each year, and every single student is unique. So we’ve learned a thing or two about flexibility. We take regular opportunities to reflect, innovate and make changes where we need to. Whether that means changing a strategy or switching up staff members. It’s all about creating the best experience and the right opportunities for our learners

“A gigantic thank you for all you have done for Nafeesa this year. She has thrived under all your care and become more confident and open to new experiences. She used to be afraid of trying anything out of her comfort zone, but now she is tackling each new challenge with a smile on her face.”

In this together

If you’re thinking about applying to Bridge College, talk to us early. Or better yet, pay us a visit. To help students get the most out of their time here, we like to work together as early as possible to shape a plan. We can then support students and their families through any transition period.
