Jess Bates is an award-winning leader in skills, education and social impact, and the Founder of Kommon Ground, a consultancy that connects business, education and public policy. She is passionate about creating opportunities for young people, particularly those with SEND, and has worked closely with employers, government and education providers to help make this happen. As a governor, Jess has strengthened links between education and the technology sector, supporting programmes that prepare students for future careers. Drawing on her own lived experience of disability and neurodiversity, she is committed to helping every young person access ambitious and meaningful opportunities.
