Welcome to Inscape House Vocational College

Based in Ashton, Greater Manchester, our College welcomes learners aged 16-19.

We specialise in working with young people with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Our approach

We believe that everyone is different, and everyone has individual needs.

That’s why we offer personalised learning plans and highly differentiated planning; to help our learners fulfil their potential and improve their confidence and self-esteem.

Our nurturing environment has a high staff-to-pupil ratio which benefits learners who have previously struggled to access education.

Here, learners are supported to follow a varied timetable and meet course criteria within an identified timescale inline with BTEC requirements.

Typically, our learners present with the following characteristics:

  • Low self-esteem
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • A diagnosis of ADHD/ASC/SEMH/Autism
