Transfer from another agency
Already fostering with another agency? We can support you to transfer to the Together Trust.
For over 20 years, we’ve been supporting foster carers to provide stable homes to young people who may not be able to live with their birth families.

You may be moving house, want more specialist support, or would like to foster with a not-for-profit – whatever the reason, we welcome applications from people already approved to foster with another agency.
You would have to be reassessed, but this should be fairly straightforward as you will have all your experience in fostering.
Please note that carers are not able to foster with more than one agency at a time.
Why foster with us?
- We’re a charity which means every single penny goes back into supporting young people – we never profit from children in care. The Together Trust charity has been supporting vulnerable children for over 150 years. And as long as young people need us, we’re not going anywhere.
- Based in the North West, we’ve worked hard to build a connected fostering family here where staff, carers and families can support each other. In fact, our level of training, support and friendly community mean some of our foster carers have been with us for over 20 years.
- As part of the Together Trust charity, you’ll have access to our specialist services – including our psychology team, Sleep Services and speech and languages therapists – meaning that you and your foster child have expert, tailored support.
“We found the whole process to be efficient and all staff to be friendly and helpful.
Special thanks to our social worker who was honest, supportive and reliable and helped us at every stage of the process, both practically and emotionally.”
