Eighteen-year-old Faye, one of our outstanding students at Inscape House School, had an exciting day this Tuesday at a special ceremony in London after being shortlisted for the Pupil Library Assistant of the Year Awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though she didn\u2019t take home the top prize, the event was a joyful celebration for Faye, recognising her exceptional work in the school library. The guest speaker, Russell Kane, delivered an inspiring talk about the importance of libraries and their positive impact on mental wellbeing. He emphasised the need for young people, particularly boys, to have access to literature that can guide and inform them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the ceremony, Faye had the wonderful opportunity to chat with several published authors and received signed copies of their books. In a generous gesture, she donated some of the signed books to Inscape House School\u2019s library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
