Students gathered in the Great Hall earlier this month to celebrate with games, themed snacks, music, reading and more. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>World Animal Day<\/strong> activities are organised by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.togethertrust.org.uk\/news\/inscape-house-school-scoops-second-award-animal-assisted-therapy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Danielle<\/a>, our award winning\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.togethertrust.org.uk\/news\/animal-magic-animal-assisted-interventions-inscape\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Animal Assisted Intervention<\/a>\u00a0(AAI) practitioner, in order to raise awareness of challenges to natural life through a variety of fun activities. Students were really interested in learning more fun facts about animals, but also discovering how we can protect them.&#8221;\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Students were also delighted to meet the two brand new members of the Animal Assisted Intervention team:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.togethertrust.org.uk\/news\/nibble-and-nugget-join-animal-assisted-intervention-team-inscape-house-school\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nibble and Nugget<\/a>. The two dwarf hamsters are joining&nbsp;an already established team of support animals that include:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.togethertrust.org.uk\/news\/meet-stitch-bearded-dragon-turned-therapy-animal\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Stitch-<\/a>&nbsp;the bearded dragon, Simba and Davey \u2013 the friendly tortoises, Pepper and Pandora \u2013 the adorable guinea pigs.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What better occasion to bring out the giraffe onesie than the annual Animal Day celebration?
