This month, Inscape House and Bridge College students took part in our third annual STEAM fair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What makes STEAM (Science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) so important?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

It affects everything in our day-to-day lives: from the clothes we wear to the food we eat, and is integral for careers in transport, keeping the environment clean and safe, energy, transport, apps and games, working with animals, robotics, and even space travel.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s bumper fair included visits from Atkins<\/a> (who taught our students about Robotics, Introduction to Engineering, Coding, and Maths and Estimation), Paws4Conservation<\/a>, Dunham Massey<\/a>, Tarmac<\/a>, and the Counsellor Midwife<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our fabulous staff also organised workshops for maths, gardening, music, and diversity in the workplace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
