Ways to give

At the Together Trust we promise to spend every penny raised on things that benefit children, young people and adults with physical and learning disabilities, behavioural, emotional and social difficulties and autism spectrum conditions.

Fundraised income enables us to buy new and replace old items of equipment, to pay for day trips and activities, to establish projects and to develop our top quality services. This really does mean that every penny that is donated has a positive impact on the lives of children, young people and adults we work with.

Any donation, small or large is welcome.

Regular giving

Regular giving is the most beneficial way of supporting the Together Trust as it enables us to plan for the future. You choose the amount you wish to give and how often you wish to donate - monthly, quarterly or annually.

You can choose to contribute regularly by cheque or Direct Debit.

One off gifts

One off donations are welcome at any time of the year and gifts large and small can make a difference. All donations we receive are used to support the charity's general work, unless you want it to support something more specific, such as a particular residential home or school. Please contact the fundraising team at by telephone on 0161 283 4822 or contact us to discuss current fundraising projects to which you could contribute.

Donations in lieu of gifts

If you have special occasion coming up such as a birthday, anniversary, engagement, wedding, retirement or housewarming, why not consider asking your friends, relations or colleagues to make a donation to the Together Trust in lieu of gifts?

This not only avoids the embarrassment and inconvenience of gifts that you may not want or need but enables you to celebrate your special event in the knowledge that you are also making a positive difference to someone who may not be celebrating life in the same way you are. Your gift could give hope and happiness to a vulnerable young person, cared for by the Together Trust. Double the cause to celebrate!

You can even set up an online giving page to help you do this.

Alternatively you could organise a collection at your party or be more creative by asking each guest to bring something to include in a raffle or auction during the evening. The sky is the limit and your support in such a thoughtful way really means a huge amount to the Together Trust.

Gift Aid

Whenever you make a donation to the Together Trust, remember to Gift Aid it! If you are a UK taxpayer, we can recover 25% in reclaimed tax to add to your gift. It doesn’t cost you a penny more but it means that your donation can make an even greater difference.

To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in Income Tax or Capital Gains must at least equal the amount we claim in the tax year.
