The Noise Camels

A group of students on the Step Up course at Bridge College have formed a rock band called ‘The Noise Camels’ and they have recently recorded their very own CD. The Step-Up course is for young people on the autism spectrum aged 17 to 23 years.

The group started work on there EP in January 2011 writing four original songs over a three month period. All of the students involved in the project contributed lyrics and music whilst some students worked on artwork. The group have also done a lot of promotion, putting up posters around college and sending out letters and emails to press.

The Noise Camels performed at the Inscape music festival and they are now selling their CD for just £2! All money made will go towards a charity of the student’s choice.

Students involved with the project are Neil Wilkinson, Dane Ward, Matthew Roberts, Ghulam Butt, David Sabti, Dion Bostock, Vicky Nield, Kate Daniels, James Heatley, Mickey Heaton, Michael Mills and Haider Ahmed.

Anyone interested in purchasing the EP please contact us.
