Services in partnership with local authorities

The Together Trust has a number of residential services that run in partnership with local authorities.

We believe that working together achieves the best possible outcomes for children, young people and vulnerable adults.

Effective multi-agency working is an essential tool in achieving best outcomes, giving opportunities for 'joined up thinking', sharing information and striving for the best services that fit the needs of our service users. We are recommended by inspectors and commissioners for transparent partnership working.

To achieve excellent results regular meetings are held between key personnel from the Together Trust and contracting authorities.

The Together Trust collates data under Every Child Matters to evidence outcomes for young people, using a variety of mediums including regulatory inspections and the CHARMS database system. This allows us to evidence key performance indicators as identified by commissioners and national contract requirements. We participate in comparative benchmarking with other providers, regulatory bodies and within local authority services.

We encourage visits from commissioners to undertake their own planned and unplanned monitoring visits.

"Very good progress has been made - the person centred approach has really benefited P."
