Emergency care

The Together Trust has established services offering emergency provision in the North West area.

Our emergency placements offer:

  • A period of assessment designed to identify the most appropriate future placement
  • Education where appropriate although we will also work to achieve a school placement where this is in the best interests of the young person
  • Preparation work to help the young person move forward more positively (recovery plans, direct work)
  • Behaviour management strategies for young people, overseen by an accredited Behaviour Management Consultant
  • Direct work/therapeutic packages where appropriate
  • Staff groups with direct access to Clinical and Educational Psychologist support and advice
  • Non-directive therapy/psychological assessments can be commissioned at additional cost
  • Ability to provide 1:1 staff support at a small additional fee.

Our emergency provisions include a full assessment of the young person’s needs and can include a psychological assessment if this will be of benefit to the young person.

The Together Trust is interested in developing contracts with local authorities for emergency and other types of residential provision.
