Residential homes

The Together Trust has a wide range of residential homes for children, young people and vulnerable adults aged between 5 and 30 years of age.

All our homes are located in the North of England and Wales. We work in partnership with local authority commissioners, service users and families, providing care in small group homes and single placement homes. We also offer NAS (National Autistic Society) accredited shared care and short break services. Our residential services provide:

  • Emergency placements
  • Medium to long term specialist placements for children, young people and vulnerable adults including those with physical and/or learning disabilities
  • Homes for children who, for whatever reason, cannot live with their families
  • Care for children whose foster placements have broken down
  • Post 16 independent living
  • Supported living and ‘homes for life’ for vulnerable adults
  • Ofsted/CQC registered short breaks and shared care for children, young people and vulnerable adults with disabilities and/or challenging behaviours including autism. Our shared care and short break services for young people with autism are accredited by NAS.

"I cannot express how incredible the difference to the service user's life is."

Team leader, commissioning local authority

"It's an understatement to say that (he) has been a challenging young person at times, however, through the support of your team he has been able to have some positive life experiences that I hope will improve his outcomes in later life."
