Specialist Foster Care

By drawing upon all specialisms offered by the Together Trust including social work, education, residential, psychology, community and domiciliary services, we offer a wrap-around holistic model that is evidence-based and of the highest standard for young people.

We believe that by offering individualised and specialist services we can enable young people, previously only meeting the criteria of residential care placements, to have the opportunity of living within a family environment and improved life opportunities and outcomes.

The aim is that the practitioners and carers will have access to regular, proactive support from experienced internal professionals. This ensures the care and support they deliver address the emotional and therapeutic needs of the young people they foster in partnership with a host of multi-agency professionals involved with a young person’s support needs.

The key to successful placements is well trained, experienced and highly supported foster carers.
