At the Together Trust we run a series of workshops, clinics and groups for parents and professionals. We have a team of highly experienced staff including an educational psychologist, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, a family support worker and teachers. These staff have developed expertise working in our schools and providing outreach to other organisations which can be shared through our training.
Workshops provide a balance of theory and practice and participants will leave with an increased understanding of autism spectrum conditions (ASC) and practical strategies to use in their home or place of work.
Meeting your specific training needs
We recognise that training has the greatest impact if it relates to your own context and situation. We have provided training for parent groups, Sure Start, short break services, social services departments, schools and colleges.
Training can be provided at the Together Trust or at your school, workplace or parent support group. The sessions can be tailored to your needs for example we can provide a full days training or a series of twilight sessions. If you have a large group we can provide additional speakers to enable small group discussions. We will provide course materials and attendance certificates.
If you would like to know more about training that is specifically designed to meet the needs of your organisation, please call 0161 283 4848 or contact us.
