The Inscape Centre for Autism (INCA) is part of Inscape House.

INCA’s expert, specialist team provides:

  • Assessment
  • Consultancy
  • Training.

INCA, which has been running for more than ten years, has an established reputation in the field of autism spectrum conditions (ASC).

We work directly with individuals with an ASC and provide assessment, support and advice for the families and professionals who live and work with them. We also provide educational programmes for a small group of young people who are unable to access other forms of education.

We provide consultancy to schools and other services working with young people and young adults with ASC. Our consultants are experienced teachers and therapists who have an extensive knowledge of the autism spectrum. They also know and understand the difficulties that may arise for young with ASC in different environments.

We deliver a range of training programmes, tailored to the exact needs of the school, service or organisation. These include awareness-raising courses, courses with a focus on particular topics within the field of ASC and longer courses, which are accredited through Manchester Metropolitan University.

Over the last ten years we have provided ASC-specific support to local authorities, schools, and other services and have successfully undertaken training courses for numerous organisations and individuals.

“I’ve really enjoyed the day. A comprehensive overview of the autism spectrum delivered in a variety of ways. I appreciated the vast knowledge shared, with so many examples”
Course delegate, Insight Course

“We are very grateful to you for the amount of support you offered to us. Your input gave us very clear guidance and very important strategies. You also helped us through some difficult times.”
