Solution Focused Services

With an excellent reputation for partnership working, all our services for disabled young people and adults offer:

  • Support from teams of highly trained, experienced staff. Training is provided in PROACT SCIPr-UK®, PECS based communication, Makaton and ASC specific training where relevant
  • Person centred planning – linking to all aspects of support, social integration and learning. We work closely with schools and colleges
  • Assistance with transition and direct work packages where appropriate
  • Opportunities to develop and enhance practical skills
  • Support for those with medical needs
  • Support from our own clinical psychologist.
  • Direct payment uptake for short breaks and shared care.

We also provide activity holidays, flexible outreach and community and home services for disabled young people and adults across the North of England.  We have a number of service user forums, groups and activities to promote friendships and additional social opportunities.

Drawing together teams of highly skilled professionals from across residential and domiciliary services, along with education provisions, fostering and autism specialist services, our strategy is to transform and expand our Disability support services in order to provide a comprehensive approach to supporting families.
