At the Together Trust we believe everybody deserves an equal chance in life. There are no exceptions.

This includes those with behavioural problems, learning difficulties, physical disabilities and autism spectrum conditions. But each one has the ability and the right to experience joy, happiness and hope.

At the Together Trust we do everything in our power to make that happen and we've been doing it since 1870. We continue to meet the needs of thousands of children, young people, adults and families in the North West and beyond.

For us, nothing is more rewarding than seeing someone break through barriers and take control of their life.

Solution focused services

The Together Trust provides a wide range of social care, special education, community support and consultancy services. We are also a registered domiciliary care agency for children and adults and are one of the largest voluntary providers of residential services from short-term emergency care to long-term placements in the UK. Our fostering service provides family placements across the North of England and the West Midlands.

We provide some of the leading specialist education services in the North West region, operating a range of special schools, a further education college and centres supporting those who cannot attend mainstream schools. In addition we offer a wide range of training, consultancy and support services.

We are committed to:

  • Keeping the children, young people and vulnerable adults we support safe. We stringently follow procedures to endorse this

  • The provision of quality services and improvements outcomes for children, young people and adults

  • The promotion and celebration of values, cultures and beliefs of our clients who come from a wide range of ethnic and racial backgrounds

  • Providing the broadest approach to person centred planning in consultation with service users.

As a registered charity, the organisation requires partners, particularly from the business sector, to raise awareness of its work and therefore voluntary income and fundraising activities are vital to the development of its work.
